We have seen a couple of examples now of Digital Cameras with built in GPS. These cameras store the location that the picture was taken within the picture metadata itself.
But how about Video Cameras with this capability? The ability to track location on a frame by frame basis might also be very useful. Does anyone know of an example?

Bite-sized news

I just did a quick patent search for this. It seems that a patent was issued to NEC corporation, filed in 1999, granted in 2006. I cannot wiat to see it on the market.

This technique is used by photogrammtery companies who supply aerial imagery to be used in emergencies.
I saw a demo of it the other day, one window shows video footage whilst another shows a map tracking the progress of the
aircraft. The camera didnt have a GPS built into it, I think it was linked to one via some sort of time-coding.
What would be more usefull would be a camera with GPS, and INS or a gyroscope so that the angle of the photo (and therefore
the subject) could be determined.

Nick, Ricoh did produce a Camera plus GPS, but I’m not sure whether it determines the angle (or bearing) here’s the link:

Hi everyone! We would like to successfully get hold of a brand new 106 inch HD Television for computer. The Tv need to have total hd as well a min of four high definition multimedia interface guarded outlets. Now we are on the lookout for a lot good testimonials internet websites, considering the fact that there are so many products from so many brands available on the main electric marketplace. Do some person find out lots of fine domains, just where i and my partner can check over?
